If you're looking for a unique Christmas present, a nonprofit in midcoast Maine might have something right up your alley.

The Chocolate Church Arts Center in Bath along with dozens of local professional and amateur musicians and artists have created a book called “From Home in Bunny Slippers.”

The title is a reference about how so many people are working from home during the pandemic.

Throughout the pages it features paintings, poetry, essays, short stories, photography and much more as creators provide an outlet for everyone dealing with the coronavirus.

"What if we got a bunch of artists to contribute work of all sorts and sort of put in this book and it could serve as a time capsule for this crazy time and show how people were resilient and being creative during a very strange year,” said William Lederer the executive director at the Chocolate Church Arts Center.

The book is available to purchase the Chocolate Church Arts Center’s website or by calling the CCAC office at 207-442-8455.
